• Can I submit a DVD in NTSC format?
  Yes, we can accept PAL or NTSC DVDs.

• Is it mandatory to submit an English dialogue list for short films?
  No. Our rules simply require that films that have dialogue not in English or French to be subtitled in one of these languages.

• Is there a preferred genre for short films in the fiction competition, or does anything go?
  Almost everything is welcome – the only genre that we will not consider is pornography.

• Can I submit an animated short?
  Yes of course, we love animated films!

• Can I submit more than one short film?
  Yes, there is no limit to the number of films you can submit. However, you must register each with Short Film Depot and send the signed submission form for each film.

• I want to send you several films. Can they be on the same DVD?
  It is easier for us to handle separate DVDs for each film, but it is not mandatory.

• I have a wonderful short film that is slightly longer than the time allowed. Can I submit it?
  No. For programming reasons we will only consider films that are within the time limit, including credits.
